Free Medical Services for Children

Free Immunizations

Free Immunizations are available on a walk in basis every Monday through Friday from 8:30 - 11 a.m and from 1-3 p.m.  to all children under age 18 at the People's Health Clinic, 5701 Delmar, St. Louis, MO  63112, phone 314-367-7848. 

 

Free Eye Exams and Glasses

Pearl Vision in Brentwood provides free eye exams and glasses for children with no vision insurance.  If your child participates in the free/reduced breakfast or lunch program, he will qualify.  Call Annette Gerwitz, R. N. at 314-645-9600 extension 156 to have a letter of application sent to your home.


Free Generic Antibiotics at all Schnucks Pharmacies

Schnucks Pharmacies has a free generic antibiotic program for adults and children.  Just take all your prescriptions for generic antibiotics to Schnucks and the pharmacy will fill the prescription for no charge.  While you're there, make sure to use your E-Script card for the benefit of St. Louis Charter School.

 

The Family Resource Center at St. Louis Children's Hospital

The Family Resource Center at St. Louis Children's Hospital can help you find up to date information to answer your questions regarding your children's health.  The pediatric nurses will put together information to help answer your questions and mail it directly to your home. If you stop by, a medical librarian can help you with book, video and internet searches, help you send and receive email and faxes, make photocopies and provide phone lines for your laptop.  Call 314-454-2350 or email frc@bjc.org to contact the nurses or librarian at the Family Resource Center.
